detox guides are a scam

by Author

So, this whole detox stuff is basically someone’s genius plan to get you to spend more money on products that basically do nothing more than what your body already does naturally. Supposedly, they help you lose weight. Yeah, right. If you want a no-BS approach, just eat your veggies. It’s free advice right here, unlike those guides.

And why do they all sound the same? Like, are they all copying the same filler sentences from some secret detox writer’s club handbook? You know what really helps? Sleeping and drinking actual water, not some glittered up “detox” water bottle add-ons. Oh, and let’s not even start on those juices that cost more than your phone bill.

I mean, if I really wanted to drink something green and questionable, I could always just look in the back of my fridge and save myself a ridiculous amount of cash. But no, let’s all pretend that liquid salad is magical. Tell me less, mister detox guru, because my brain is already short-circuiting from your drivel.

If you really want to know what works, maybe check out this guide not because it’s filled with detox nonsense but maybe because you’re curious if it’s different from the usual trash. Whatever.
